Welcome to Camperplaats Bloemenveld!
The place for lovers of peace and space. Located in a central spot in Northern Netherlands, surrounded by three provinces: Groningen, Friesland, and Drenthe. We offer spacious pitches of 80m2, separated by hedges. You can enjoy a wide view, and pets are very welcome. The hard surface is covered with a sturdy grass mat, also suitable for large and heavy campers.
For an all-inclusive price, you can make use of all facilities:
- 10 Amp power (± 2300 watts);
- WiFi;
- Heated sanitary unit with shower, toilet, and dishwashing area;
- Information kiosk: local events/businesses, cycling and walking routes;
- Service point: water tap, waste disposal area, and chemical toilet disposal.
The camper site is nestled in greenery, in a wooded area. A perfect base for walking and cycling trips.
When can we welcome you?
Opening hours
You are warmly welcome from March 1st to November 1st. We do not have specific check-in and check-out times (24-hour principle: arrival time = departure time).
Reservations are allowed but not required. We always keep spots available for walk-ins.

Arrival and departure
Arrival
Upon arrival, there is no need to report. At the information kiosk, you can complete your registration and then choose a spot for yourself. Select the power pole closest to your camper.
In the evening, we always take a round through the camper site to meet everyone. We are usually present multiple times a day, so if there are urgent matters, please contact us by phone.
Departure
Upon departure, please leave the spot tidy and you can settle your payment at the information kiosk. This can be done using the QR code (for Dutch banks only) or in cash in the envelope, which you can deposit in the mailbox provided.
Prices
Prices per night:
Camper for two persons: € 16.50.
Extra adult: € 2.50.
Children aged 0 to 4 years: free.
Children aged 5 to 17 years: € 1.
Pets are free.
This includes the use of all facilities.
Payment is arranged at the information kiosk. This can be done in cash with an envelope in the mailbox or with the QR code (only for Dutch banks).

Reservations are allowed but not mandatory. We only reserve a limited number of spots to ensure there is always room for campers who arrive spontaneously.
Would you like to make a reservation? You can do so via email or the reservation form. Your reservation is only final after confirmation via email.
Facilities
During your stay, you can make use of all the facilities such as electricity, Wi-Fi, and the service point.
Additionally, we have a heated sanitation unit with a shower, toilet, and washing area.
The sanitation unit will be renovated at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026. Once everything is ready, the new photos will of course be posted online.
Information kiosk
In the information kiosk, you will find everything regarding registration and payment. Of course, you will also find information about the surrounding area, attractions, local activities, and cycling and walking routes.
Waste
Here, you can also find the waste collection area. We separate waste into glass, paper, plastic, and residual waste. There are several bins where you can deposit your waste.
Servicepoint
Tapping Water
Upon arrival, you can tap water behind the farmhouse.
Disposing Water
You can dispose of water at the disposal station. You will find this at the camper site. Drive into the camper site, turn left immediately, and at the end, turn left again. Behind the tree line, you will find the disposal station.
Emptying Chemical Toilet
You can empty the chemical toilet at the back of the sanitation unit.

The origin of Camperplaats Bloemenveld
We often get asked why the camper site is called Bloemenveld, and why are there so few flowers (yet)? There's a remarkable story behind it. Curious about the whole story? Click the button below.
Unfortunately, the story isn't yet available in English. We apologize for the inconvenience. We'll be happy to explain it to you during the introduction.
Surroundings
Camperplaats Bloemenveld is located in a wooded area with various small and large villages nearby. Next to this, a small selection is provided; there is much more information available in the information kiosk about cycling and walking routes, attractions, events, businesses, mills, museums, etc.
Villages
The Wilp is approximately 2.5 kilometers away from us. Here you will find Dagwinkel Hovius and the Wilpster department store.
Marum is located about 3.5 kilometers away and is a larger village with two supermarkets, a baker, a butcher, and many other shops and dining options. There are also two bike repair shops here.
Zevenhuizen (approximately 5 km) has a bakery, supermarket: Poiesz, and also a bike repair shop.
Further away from us are several larger villages such as Leek (approximately 12 km), Roden (approximately 11 km), and Drachten (approximately 15 km).
Sauna
A lovely day of relaxation in the sauna? In Zevenhuizen (about 5 km away) is wellness resort de Waterlelie. There are various saunas, baths, and a spacious garden.
Prefer a private sauna? In Boerakker (about 11.5 km away) is Sensess Wellness. Here you have multiple saunas, a jacuzzi, and a pool all to yourself.

Forests
We have several forests nearby. The Nanninga forest is the closest to our campsite. A little further away are the Coendersbos, Haasterbos, and Trimunt. In Marum, there's the Marumerlage with a beautiful walking route. In Bakkeveen and Norg, there are larger forests.
Convenient businesses nearby
Just 5 minutes away from us is Arob Antennebouw located in Siegerwoude. They specialize in satellite TV, navigation systems, solar panels, rearview cameras, and more for campers, caravans, trucks, and boats. Do you have an appointment there? Feel free to stay with us before and/or after your visit.
In Roden, you'll find "Kampeerhal Roden". As the name suggests, they offer everything related to camping, such as furniture, awnings, accessories, clothing, hiking boots, etc.
Cycling and walking
The green surroundings invite you to enjoy cycling or walking. The starting points of the junction cycling routes are approximately 2 km away.
You can also enjoy lovely walks. The camper site is located along a road without a bicycle or pedestrian path, so the first part of your walk will be along the road. Once you are off that road, there are (bicycle) paths available for pleasant walking.
